Basketball, Injuries, and Work Outs
A black eye, a sprained left thumb, and a pulled right calf. I love playing basketball. Oddly enough besides getting banged up all week, I think i'm finally starting to see the effects of trying to exercise every morning. I've dropped about 10 pounds over the last 2-3 months, down from about 165+ to 155. I'm getting my speed back, have more energy on the court, and i'm a little stronger now thanks to some light weights and exercise every morning. The confidence boost is a nice addition too. We'll see how long this keeps up. Now if only I didn't keep eating like crap....Maybe i'll actually hit the gym with Abe after all come March.

Expectations vs Reality
Note to self: temper my expectations, because reality unfolds like that quite often.

Forget
Lately, I think it makes me the most sad when people forget about me. :(

Fix You
When you try your best but you don't succeedWhen you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse.
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
